About Bustani
We built the software we wished our own clubs had.
Bustani is a platform for Rotary clubs and districts that handles membership, dues, welfare, donors, and service projects in one place. It exists because doing meaningful service work shouldn't require living in spreadsheets and WhatsApp threads.

Welfare disbursements, dues collection, donor receipts — we choose explicit approval workflows and full audit logs over fancy automation. Trust is earned by being predictable.
Built for many regions
Multi-currency, multi-language, multi-payment-method from day one. Stripe + M-Pesa + bank-transfer reconciliation, Kenya DPA + GDPR, Africa + Europe + beyond.
Open to feedback
Every paying club has a direct line to product. Quarterly board calls, public roadmap, and changelog. We change direction when the people doing the work tell us we got it wrong.
How we got here
A short timeline.
- 2024
First pilot
A handful of Rotary clubs in Kenya signed on as design partners. We rebuilt the dues + welfare workflows around their actual board cadences.
- 2025
M-Pesa + Stripe live
End-to-end payment reconciliation across two payment rails went live. Clubs stopped maintaining spreadsheets to track who'd paid.
- 2026
Multi-currency + districts
Districts can now roll up across clubs. Multi-currency billing serves clubs across the world. Donor app shipped to iOS + Android.
